Social skills are one of the most important developmental skills for children to develop, as they often serve as predictors of future success. Our skills group provides a safe and fun environment for kids ages 6-10 to learn, practice, implement and begin to generalize important pro-social skills. In this group, we will use child-centered activities for kids to be able to increase social communications, problem-solving skills, coping skills, self-confidence and learn how to better communicate their feelings, thoughts, and needs to others which also helps teach kids how they can better respond to other people's feelings, thoughts, and needs.
