Sage (Kirsten) Sharp (they/them) has been practicing Social Work since 2012. Sage began their career working in Arkansas, working in foster care and obtained their Master’s degree in 2017 from the University of New England. In 2020, Sage began working in mental health, primarily as an outpatient clinician, with additional experience in in-patient hospitalization, adjunct teaching, and supervising.
Sage seeks to provide a supportive and safe atmosphere in the space they share with their clients while encouraging clients to challenge the narratives and stories that no
longer serve them. Sage finds that they work well with people who identify as members of LGBTQIA+, Neurodiverse, and/or Aging communities, and works with individuals twelve and older. Sage approaches therapy from a person-centered, relational, and trauma-informed lens.
Sage identifies as a queer, nonbinary, black biracial person. Sage has one dog and two cats and enjoys spending time with their loved ones in their free time.
