Ryan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). He enjoys working with adolescents and adults. Specifically, he is passionate about helping his clients work through significant life events that hinder their day to day functioning.  He works with clients to build on their strengths and to utilize their coping skills. Ryan is experienced in helping individuals work towards their goals with a variety of concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Post-Traumatic Stress, Substance Use, Work problems, Social Fears, Grief and Loss, Relationship Problems, and life circumstances affecting LGBTQ identifying individuals. Ryan works from an energetic, compassionate, person-centered, and trauma-focused therapeutic approach. Ryan is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) as a modality for processing trauma, or mental and physical conditions to achieve benefits more rapidly and to promote quicker healing and recovery from significant life events. Ryan attended Hazelden Graduate School to receive his Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling along with his Masters in Addiction Counseling, for an Advanced Practice degree. Ryan has worked in clinical program development and with diverse populations to master his therapeutic approach. For self-care, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, walking his two dogs, and bicycling.
