Robert Menge earned his Dual Master’s Degree in Social Work and Public Policy from The University of Minnesota in 2020. He is a pre-licensed therapist in the process of obtaining his licensure to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Robert has an array of work experiences which include working in the education system, outpatient mental health, community outreach for mental health rights, and community based mental health. With his degree in Public Policy as well as Social Work, Robert has a broad, systems-level mindset with an intricate, humanistic approach.
Robert loves to work with kids, adolescents, and adults, both individually and in groups. His areas of expertise include Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Adjustment issues, and Stress Management. He has also worked with children, adolescents, and adults who live with ASD and ADHD. As a Social Worker, he has sat with and listened to the stories of many people from often marginalized communities: LGBTQ+, People of Color, and Neurodivergent populations. He has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Existential and Humanistic Modalities, and creative methods.
Robert's approach to therapy starts with viewing each individual with their own vast inner world, and truly appreciating the depth of each individual's experience. He draws from an eclectic set of modalities to meet the unique needs of each client being served. He hopes to help people find their own power through extensive goal setting and reflection.
