Kristin Dehrkoop, MSW, LICSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist in Minnesota with extensive experience providing mental health care across residential, hospital, and outpatient settings. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University–Mankato and her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the College of Saint Benedict.

 

Kristin provides trauma-informed therapy for adults and adolescents navigating challenges such as personality disorders, trauma and attachment concerns, sexual abuse recovery, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, chemical dependency, and stress management. Her treatment approach integrates evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, group therapy, and schema therapy.

 

Kristin believes that meaningful change happens through collaboration, compassion, and practical strategies. She uses a strength-based approach that empowers clients to build resilience, improve relationships, and create lasting emotional well-being. Known for her balanced style—professional, approachable, and occasionally infused with humor—Kristin helps clients feel supported while challenging them toward genuine growth.
